From Scratch Cost:

Spray Paint: $3.50
2 Sheets Scrapbook paper : $1.00
Modge Podge: $5.00
My cost (use things you already have!):
Coasters: $2.00
Time: Ehhh, inlcuding wait time between spray paint and modge podge drying about 12 hours
Actual working time: Apx. 1 hour
I Bought these coasters from goodwill for about $2.00
After a little spraypaint, scrapbook paper, and modge podge, a perfect christmas gift!

Cute, Inexpensive Wreath
I bought this wreath for pretty cheap from a local store, the "K" came from Hobby Lobby on sale, and I also got some great Kelly Green rustolium spray paint, the ribbon and faux pearls I just found in some craft drawers! 
Used some brown spray paint I had laying around to spray the "K"
Sprayed the Wreath
Attached "K" to wreath with hot glue, wrapped with ribbon, added pearls... Taaaa Daaaa!
